[dev] Building with native open/save dialogs

I am building OOO320_m15 on Ubuntu 9.10 and I am having problems enabling
the native gnome dialogs for open/save. For some reason the option "Use
OpenOffice.org dialogs" is missing in "Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org >
General" and is enabled by default so the file dialogs displayed are not
from gnome. How can I build so this option is visible in Ubuntu? Am I
missing some package dependency?
