Hi,
We have downloaded the OpenOffice source code from the following URL :
http://www.filestube.com/search.html?q=download+OOo_3.x.x_src_core.tar.bz2.
However, we are not very sure about the actual proceeding with regards
to this source code. Many issues like finding the root file of the
complete hierarchy of the package, implementing or runucning the code
and studying it, etc., are blocking our path.
Hence, it's our sincere request to you to offer your valuable
suggestions in this regard, advice regarding the further proceedings
and if possible, some references to any particular books, links or
developers to whom we can concern to, for study.
I'd urge you to download the source archives from the OpenOffice.org mirrors
http://download.openoffice.org/other.html
Here you find a Software Development Kit (SDK) as well.
There are more source packages than the core package you're currently using.
If you like to access the source repository directly then give the
Mercurial server http://hg.services.openoffice.org a chance.
Development codeline (trunk) is DEV300 and release codeline currently is
OOO330. Milestone tags contain a "m" followed by the milestone number
(eg. OOO330m9)
Please take a look at http://api.openoffice.org and at
http://development.openoffice.org/ and probably at
http://contributing.openoffice.org/programming.html
Kind regards, Joost
