I just finished manually running the performance tests on revision 7503
(from Tuesday). See results here:

In summary:
* Windows and Linux now launch in acceptable time with empty repository.
Mac needs to shave close to 50% (this is actually the story regarding
almost every test).
* Mac and Linux create new calendar in acceptable time. Windows is
hovering on the border.
* Other areas still need "some" work ;)

I also finished the Tinderbox vs manual calibration tests for Linux and
Mac. On Linux Tbox overhead is conservatively 11%, but on the Mac it is
63%. Windows numbers to follow. These differences are so large, and with
so much differences between tests that the manual tests are still the
way to get the official numbers (on the PerformanceProject page). See
