As momentum builds to add more features to the Parquet format, I think it is increasingly important to clearly communicate what features are supported by what parquet implementations so downstream systems can plan the rollout of these features more deliberatly.
This likely entails more / better documenation. This came up several times recently, so I filed a github ticket to track ideas on the parquet-site page[1] Andrew [1]: https://github.com/apache/parquet-site/pull/38
