So many questions. And not a file. We don't even know if your file was properly
signed in the first place. And yes there were problems in older versions
sometimes when a signed file was signed again, and I don't think this was fixed
in the 1.8 branches, because it was too difficult. And yes sometimes PDFs
prohibit all changes, including signing again. And yes BouncyCastle plays a
role in signing.
Please don't reopen issues just because you were in it, if it is a different
topic.
