Actually I was under the impression that the new Apache2 came with a version of perl but after checking that doesn't appear to be so. I do have perl installed on my system but it is an older version that came with an old version of Apache that supported the mod_perl. The version of perl that I have installed is 5.00503. Would this be the problem? Should I download and install the latest perl from ActiveState? Thanks again for your help.
