Since this method is being called from PhoenixHiveStorageHandler, can you
a) Ensure the HBase configuration is loaded in
PhoenixHiveStorageHandler#setConf.
this.con = HBaseConfiguration.create(conf);
b) Pass the configuration object to the method setProperties() from
PhoenixHiveStorageHandler#configureJobProperties .
That way, we avoid setting default values.
