I think we should push this work to post 4.7.0 and do PHOENIX-2571 in the same
release cycle to make sure they cooperate. Too much good stuff already in (or
committed to be in) 4.7.0 to wait. There may be b/w compat issues depending on
how this is implemented as well. I would like to get PHOENIX-2143 and
PHOENIX-2417 into 4.7.0 if possible, though. Maybe you could take PHOENIX-2417
off of the hands of [~samarthjain]. I think these two round out the stats
functionality improvements nicely.
