We had to configure the ServerRpcControllerFactory in the hbase-site.xml as our
testing on 0.98 revealed that inspite of PHOENIX-3360, we had to explicitly
provide the factory in the config. That would be the first thing I would like
to reverify once I am back. If it works like it should, then it should allay
the concerns [~vincentpoon] also had.
