Is there any reason not to drop HBase 0.94 support as well? According to
https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#hadoop HBase 0.94 and Hadoop 2.x are not
best friends. Maybe that could go to a separate Jira?
Also I'm linking PIG-4728 here since that can go in with dropping Hadoop 1.
