Yeah, that is exactly how I feel.

I regularly end up with modified code from unrelated changes in my
workspaces and git's branching & stashing would make that a lot
easier.

I have been (ab)using git recently to work with Pivot in order to
address this issue, and really like the workflow.  I was just getting
to the point where I was considering doing a git svn clone of the
Pivot repository when I noticed that Infra could set up a git mirror
for us.
