That's what List is for. A List is a Sequence that is also a Collection,
like Map is a Dictionary that is also a Collection. The idea was that
you might want to combine collection interfaces, like List + Dictionary,
or Map + Sequence, which you couldn't do if they both implement Iterable
(since the type parameters might clash).
