This slack invite[1] from our community page link allows any email address to join. As Kevin pointed out, it could be expired. I have regenerated them from time to time. Here is a new one: https://join.slack.com/t/apache-polaris/shared_invite/zt-3niqssi92-s2IQMbe1jJ89ayZ4jQv2EQ, which should just work. Please also let me know if the old one[1] works or not, so that I can update the page.
