Subject: Re: [qa-dev] Key binding for Edit -> Repeat in Windows in 1.9?

The issue was closed as invalid by a developer, saying that the key exists on Sun keyboards and that the setting can be changed by the user.
I think the reasoning is flawed, because the vast majority of keybaords don't have a Redo key and the default settings should work for the majority of users, not a very small minority. The majority of users should not have to go through the extra step of reconfiguring a feature to make it work.
I filed the bug on the basis of the Linux behavior. I would like to know if the Windows version of 1.9 also uses the binding Redo for the Edit -> Repeat function. If so, this would make my case stronger for reopening the bug.
Thanks to anyone who can check this. I would do this myself, but i don't have access to a Windows computer on which i can install software for testing.
I have windows version of OOo and on windows keyboards we do not have Redo key. Also F12 dose not work like 'redo' function.
