Maybe it is already done in the test tool, but how do you automatically
compare the 2 or more documents created in open office that is visually
the same to the human eye. I am not using the testttol because I am
testing default builds on different distros (Redhat, Novell susue) which
according to the lead qa engineers here were built out of unstable
sources hence the incompatible hid.lst file. I tried cmp, diff, printing
to Postscript, xwd (screen capture) and then cmp the 2 images but they
are never the same. The goal of my testing is to create a OO document
(using Perl X11::GUITest module), alter it and then compare it with OO
documents done manually. It seems that even if you saved a copy of a
file from with OO to just another file name that file is different. I am
actually printing the 2 files to postscript and parsing out the headers
and still the identical files are different if you use cmp or diff.
Sometimes it says they are not different. Is there an OO utility that
can compare if two office documents match ?

Thanks!
