is there some logistic reason why the german language releases of OO
1.1.5 /2.0rc never seem to have the dictionaries or thesaurus for german
in the download? ( Or am I missing something)
I have just updated a further Linux machine to both 1.1.5 and 2.0 rc2
and have not been able to select spell-checking for german immediately
after installation. Luckily, I have copies of de_DE_comb and th_de_DE
which I just copied into the share/ooo/dict directories.
I wouldn't say it's exactly trivially easy to find the missing files
from the german download-sites and find out how to install them,
particularily for someone used to just using a computer as a tool and
not any way involved with SW-development, administration etc.
Perhaps Andre might like to shed some light on what is the current
policy here.
