Hi Thomas,

Thanks for taking care of test case translation.

Insert->Table in Impress is new feature of OOo3 and is tested
on Impress-2<110070> - (Impress-2 is the collection of test cases
for OOo3 new features). And Impress-1<109178> is the test case for
Calc embedding in Impress since OOo1.x/2.x. So we changed
the case description so that it's appropriate for OOo3.
# This was pointed out by Zhu Lihua.

Yuko will answer for query 2.

Regards,
Naoyuki

sorry for the delay, but too much to do in RL ... :(

This information is for people who translated TCM test cases into their
language.

The following test cases were updated last week because we got some feedback,
so please check and update their translated test cases.

Great ... Thanks for your work :)

Overall-3: 110036, 110037
   Calc-3: 110045, 110046

Translated into German :)

Impress-1: 109178

Here the test case says:
<quote>
1. Insert a new slide and click on Insert -> Object -> OLE Object ->
Spreadsheet

2. Enter some your language text, decimal data, dates in the sheet
(If you're testing OOo2.x, then use Intert -> Spreadsheet)
</qoute>

To 1: Would it not be much easier to say "Insert -> Table" instead
of "Insert -> Object..."? This is possible in my DEV300m3 under
Debian SID. Or does something happen differently, if you insert via
"Insert -> Table"? I am not sure about ... :(

To 2: Maybe - as I am not a native speaker ... ;) - it sounds only
strange to me but
<quote>
2. Enter some your language text, decimal data, dates in the sheet
(If you're testing OOo2.x, then use Intert -> Spreadsheet)
</quote>
sounds not understandable to me ... :(
Should it be
<quote>
2. Enter some text, decimal data, dates in the sheet in your
language
(If you're testing OOo2.x, then use Intert -> Spreadsheet)
</quote>
?
And as I have mentioned above: Could the parenthesised part not skipped?
HTH
Thomas.
