Is it admissible that, on the public issue tracker of a community-driven project like OOo, there are still issues like http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=103989 ?
Its description is just "."; it was opened one week ago and my request for further information remained unanswered; but it is definitely a meaningful issue, as you can infer from the subject "ODF 1.2 changes for digital signature" and the fact that it "describes" a defect to be fixed in time for OOo 3.2. I assume it was opened by a SUN employee. Fact is, until the description is "." and no documents are linked/attached there is no way for anybody to know more. The Italian N-L project has a working group about developing a certain kind of digital signature in OOo (page in Italian) http://wiki.plio.it/mediawiki/index.php?title=Firma_Digitale ; who knows if this issue affects our work? How can we get or provide information this way? (Of course, I am just criticizing the fact of not sharing the issue description with the community; I totally respect the issue poster and his work, and I believe this non-description is enough for him, but I feel it would be useful to share more with the community) Regards, Andrea Pescetti - Italian N-L Project Lead. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
