Thanks Cor for your suggestion, but apparently I failed to understand it. When you wrote this, you knew from my e-mail that I had already posted a specific request, one week before, on the issue page at http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=103989 ; so I assumed I should just wait. But today is the 20th day since the issue was posted and no information has been provided yet. And, on a less "philosophical" point of view, a significant part on the Italian N-L group budget is being put in a project about digital signatures and OOo, so it wouldn't be bad to know whether the changes (not) described in the issue affect or jeopardize our work.
