I never told such a thing :-)  I just wanted this thread to stay focused.

But then this would really mean additional work for the up-stream QA - 
everyone having to remember the maintainers of all those Linux distros out 
there; this is what I want to avoid, and do it as simple for you (up-stream 
QA) as possible.
