qdox-152 will be confirmed this weekend.

There are three issues about javadoccomments (QDOX-82, QDOX-146 and QDOX-154)

It would be nice to resolve them all at once, but this requires some rewriting
of the lexer and of course their Lexer-tests

the idea is:

define the following variables as expressions

JavadocCommentStart

JavadocCommentSeparator

JavadocAnnotation

JavadocCommentEnd

then you can read everything per line, no more need to define some stange
behaviour-code on "*" and so on.

some extra hands would be nice here ;)

I haven't heard there's a need for a quick release yet.

At the moment maven's javadoc-plugin will get an extra goal, javadoc:fix

With this goal it's possible to add javadoc-comments on your working sourcecode.

This goal uses almost everything qdox offers.

qdox-1.10 will contain fixes for this plugin, it would be nice to cover all
it's issues.

some other updates:

QDOX-151 (toString()) is in progress. I think I've covered almost every
JavaModel object. Some extra tests would be nice.

regards

Robert

Subject: [qdox-dev] Re: missing jar deps while building model

what's the status on
http://archive.codehaus.org/lists/org.codehaus.qdox.dev/msg/[email protected]
is this the same as http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/qdox-152 ?

They sound like the same thing. You've fixed 152 though right?

It should be easy for me to checkout successive tags for qdox and try out the
same testcase. Of course, the root of this thread saw me promising to dig
deeper before !

I'm sure we're due a release soon enough, with the mountain of good work you've
done recently Robert.
