package to be used out-of-the-box

                 Key: QPID-2947
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-2947
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Java Client
    Affects Versions: 0.8
            Reporter: Robbie Gemmell
             Fix For: 0.9

New versions of slf4j-api do not throw an exception if no binding is provided
to a logging configuration, instead outputting a warning and defaulting to No
Op logging. This would allow the Java client to be used of the box without
forcing users to download a binding by themselves before being able to start
using the client (eg to run the examples).
