I'd have no problem migrating things to something new (sigh!!) but I really think that the QMF Management GUI I put together is pretty good and I had actually just got things working so that I could talk to both the C++ and Java brokers using both qpid-config and the QMF GUI, that consistency seemed pretty worthwhile IMHO.
I agree. The GUI tool was very nice and easy to use and fills a gap that no one else had plugged (i.e. a graphical tool for managing the c++ broker).
I have yet to try out the adapter to allow the same to be used against the java broker, but I must say I'm impressed with your achievement there.
I applaud your efforts in this area! Please do not be discouraged! The work you have done is very valuable now as is the insights you will now be able to bring to bear on future direction in this important area.
