Sure, here is a plan for the upcoming release:

   1. ranger-2.6 branch will be used for the release
   2. Jan-29, Wednesday: Release branch will be closed for commits, commits
   after this date will require approval from PMCs
   3. Feb-5,  Wednesday: First release candidate will be out for vote
   4. Feb-12, Wednesday: Tentative vote completion

Looking forward to your support in getting the ranger 2.6 release out as
planned.
