Roller users,

We're having a vote and discussion on the Roller dev list about
releasing Roller 5.0 and we need some more feedback.

During the release process we created 7 release candidates and we got
lots of good feedback about the Tomcat and Java EE versions release
files, but we got no feedback about the JBoss and WebSphere versions.
We are considering including only the Tomcat and Java EE version in
the official Roller release and considering the JBoss and Websphere
versions to be experimental. We'd still make the (signed) JBoss and
Websphere builds available, but not on the official Apache mirrors.

Once we have more feedback on them, we could reconsider and bless them
as part of an real Apache release.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, did I miss some feedback about Roller 5 on JBoss 6 and/or Websphere 8?

Thanks,
- Dave

Maybe we should ask a version of this question on the "users" list to
see if there is any interest in these packages.  If readers there say
they want them, perhaps we could release signed packages for JBoss and
Websphere,  but somehow indicate that they are "experimental"/"beta"?
