I’m not sure that "diverged enough” isn enough reason from a legal / ASF policy point of view. If you look at the reply from the original author he didn’t give explicit permission to relicense the code. "Feel free to adapt and modify the code” is not the same as permission to relicense. That still leaves the header issue open. Thanks, Justin PS any reason that GitHub issues don’t seem to be emailed to the list?
