Hi Dave,

1) Thanks for checking.  You are right about lots of downloads, but we have 
reports that it does succeed in non-US places.

2) That usually means you don’t' already have Flex artifacts.  Try building 
with: 
    mvn -s settings-template.xml clean install

    This looks like a real problem with the Maven build
