One way to solve this is to think like a marketer. Who are the people who would like to use SDAP? Do they know that SDAP exists? Can you reach them where they are (e.g. at conferences or online forums)?
If they know that SDAP exists, what is presenting them from installing it and giving it a try? Would it help to include a a demo/tutorial/video for how to install the software and get started? Is SDAP ’too big a meal’ to consume in one sitting? If so, are there smaller components that they can easily install that solve their current problems. I attended Stepheny’s presentation at ApacheCon’22, and I found it an effective demonstration of that SDAP does. Keep doing things like that! I am not a target customer for SDAP, but I would imagine that demonstration would be compelling if presented to a conference of people managing geo/scientific data.
