You raise a point that, currently, SDAP is a bit tedious/difficult to stand up and work with. We have been working on guides etc on how to set up and operate the software but they're still a work in progress. It would be helpful to have some feedback from the perspective of a new user on what difficulties and challenges are being faced in the process etc. I'm also aware that Jason Kang on our PMC is planning on building a command-line tool to aid with working with the data ingestion side of SDAP so hopefully we can use that work to simplify uptake of SDAP.
I agree that conference attendance in things like CoC or other conferences with an earth/planetary science focus/component would be a great avenue to boost our userbase.
