Hi Cliff,
I agree that the protobuf config file can be analyzed statically and thus is
helpful for some tasks. For example,
http://ethereon.github.io/netscope/quickstart.html creates the network graph
based on the config file.
We are working on ONNX format now. More details will be released via JIRA
tickets.
