Note that after Gavin finishes the setup, these artifacts will be picked up by mirrors world wide. So we need to ensure we are always only keeping the latest release in this location. As soon as this location is populated, it will also get archived, the archive will be persisted for ever, even after we delete the release dist location. Once setup, the archive will appear at - http://archive.apache.org/dist/sis Suresh On Aug 6, 2013, at 12:17 PM, "Mattmann, Chris A (398J)" <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey Martin, > > Pretty easy -- we basically just check in the tar ball for the source > code/release, and the ASC file/MD5 and SHA file into that directory. > That's an SVN directory and then it is pub-subbed to all the mirrors > throughout the world, mirroring the result. > > However, we only do that *after* the VOTE is passed.
