Hello all

The GeoTools project released GeoTools 30 [1], which contains a renaming of their "org.opengis" packages to "org.geotools.api". Thanks to this renaming, it should now be possible to have Apache SIS or PROJ-JNI libraries to coexist with GeoTools in the same JVM. There is nothing to change for Apache SIS or PROJ-JNI users, the conflict was a GeoTools problem to be resolved on their side.

However the communication of GeoTools PMC about GeoAPI history is still misleading, and sometime false. I added a "GeoTools 30 release" section in the bottom of the GeoAPI history page at [2] for responding to 3 false claims. This page contains references to OGC and mailing list archives for allowing readers to verify by themselves.
