The Sling 5 war file available on the website is obsolete and contains at least
one bug which prevents the execution of published samples:
NPE When accessing the configuration view in webconsole with Felix as the
container (seen in the Sling 5 release)

The configuration view is needed to "uncheck the Allow Anonymous Access setting
on the Sling Request Authenticator configuration page":

That bug in Felix has already been fixed in May 2009.
