Thanks for reporting this issue.
You are right about this known issue in the web console. The simple solution
for this problem is to update the WebConsole bundle itself with the latest
release available (1.2.10 right now, a new version will be coming soon).
As a consequence we will also not remove that release from anywhere.
When a new "big" Sling release, most probably called Sling 6, will be coming
has not been decided yet. We will first continue with smaller releases on a
bundle-by-bundle basis.
