[~karlpauls], it seems a bit arbitrary to avoid adding a delete path statement,
if there is a corresponding remove/delete operation for almost all other
adding/creation statement (users, groups, policies, individual access control
entries). and removing a node that doesn't exist can equally be a noop as the
create counter part.
