Hmm, I don't think introducing this dependency is a good idea, you would also
depend on AuthenticationSupport and maybe others (whatever the SlingMainServlet
might depend on)
Can we detect this situation (that the same instance is about to be pinged)? If
so, we could add an optional dependency on SlingRequestProcessor and send the
request through that one first. If that works, external pinging should be fine.
But I think we're trying to come up with a big solution for a minor problem, a
typical Sling discovery user does not have.
