Thanks for finding this! Since we operate in git almost all of the time these things are hard to find. I imagine the only way going forward would be to disable the ":solr:solr-ref-guide:buildLocalAntoraSite" task by default if the project is not in a git repo. Not sure how to do that elegantly though.
Anybody have any ideas on that front? - Houston On Sun, Apr 2, 2023 at 10:46 AM Andy Webb <andyw...@apache.org> wrote: > hi all, > > I'm finding that "./gradlew assemble" fails when it's used in a src > download: > > > Task :solr:solr-ref-guide:buildLocalAntoraSite > {"level":"fatal","time":1680445852733,"name":"antora","hint":"Add the > --stacktrace option to see the cause of the error.","msg":"Local content > source must be a git repository: /Users/andy/Downloads/solr-9.2.0"} > > Task :solr:solr-ref-guide:buildLocalAntoraSite FAILED > > I can use "./gradlew assemble -x :solr:solr-ref-guide:buildLocalAntoraSite" > to work around this, but is there any way we can make this work "out of the > box"? > > Andy >
