No, 3.1.10 is not a security fix -- That was a copy and paste error by Theo in the draft announcement. The only bug fixes between 3.1.9 and 3.1.10 are the two minor ones that Theo listed. I think they were fixes that Theo wanted in 3.1.9 but were missed. I would vote for committing the bug 5510 and 5529 fixes to the 3.1 branch if anyone else wants them in there, and I'm willing to do the work of tracking down the details to make sure that we take care of anything else that has to be committed along with those patches. It is annoying to not be able to install from CPAN, especially if 3.1.9 was the release that broke it. -- sidney
