They shouldn't be doing any filtering... I've specifically asked to
do my own... (the one time I tried their "recommended settings", almost
1/3rd of my list mail was flagged as spam....


Beyond that, the bounce you saw is a special email that is sent by the mailing list software to try and let you know about the problem.

Well in regards to that ... I have spam controls on their end turned
off because they catch so much list traffic.

But if it doesn't look enough like a valid email, for it to be processed
by their SW, I could see it bouncing... but not anything under my control.
