Vidhya Parvathy R resolved SQOOP-637.
--------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Tired some trial and error methods. Seems like all you need to do is add a
double quotes or a \ in front of the $ sign and sqoop will identify the symbol
and the rest of the table name.
> Error while sqooping Oracle and Mysql tables that contains $ sign in their
> names

> When a table name contains the symbol $ , sqoop does not identify the part of
> the name written after the $ sign . This happens for MYSQL and Oracle tables.
> Not sure whether this is an issue with other databases. What are the
> alternatives other than renaming the structured db's table name.
