Hi, I would like to take on this task. I'll use Apache Stratos 4.0.0 RC4 release to create the demo AMI. Basically this AMI will contain the Stratos release packs and a startup script that will get user parameters from the payload (using EC2 meta-data API call) then deploy Stratos single JVM (stand-alone) + ActiveMQ. Also it will deploy demo cartridges (MySQL, Tomcat, Ruby, PHP).
We can create a demo script (boot.sh) to get user parameters (EC2 credentials, instance type, etc) and then send an API call to launch an instance of the demo AMI with the payload. Hope that covers everything that needs to be done. Thanks.
