We currently do not have explicit Jira issues for starters, but it's definitely on our roadmap now after we've nearly completed all the Apache transition issues. However, I'm sure we can find some good starter issues that match your interests. So do you have any preference what you're interested in? More on the backend part (e.g., the wrappers), the UI side, developing pipeline elements for specific use case etc.? I'll also be glad to help you in setting up a development environment, although there are some things mentioned in the documentation, there might be some things that are not adequately described in the documentation regarding the initial setup.
