As was pointed out to me by the John Arment on general@, the process for retiring a podling is a bit more elaborate, and with different consequences compared to a TLP retirement (see incubator retirement guide link below).
The most notable difference is that the podling website, in this case http://streams.apache.org, will be taken down as well.
