I strongly disagree that Struts should support any non-standard tags or attributes. I don't use IE and I despise websites that use IE specific tags so I can't use the site/app. properly. We've always done our best with Struts to produce valid markup according to the HTML and XHTML standards. IMO, anything outside of a standard is outside of Struts' scope.
