That CGLib extension always bugged me a bit... might that not be a
perfect candidate for the Extras package, which would serve to resolve
issue #2 as well? The idea of that dependency, even if optional (it
*is* optional, right?!?) doesn't sit too well with me... if it in fact
is an optional dependency, why not a completely optional add-on at the
same time?
Just a though. Anyone else?

OK then, looking at Wendy's latest update to the status page,

with the Commons Resources dependency on the backburner, now we are
down to the codependant issues regarding the new EDAF component
* Enhanced DynaActionForms cannot be correct deserialized

* Allow dynamic interface implementation by ActionForms using CGLib

If the deserialization issue is unresolved, and can't be resolved this
weekend, then I suggest we pull this into the sandbox too, perhaps
into Extras, until it's ready for prime-time.
Or, if this has been resolved, and there are no other showstopper
comments regarding the EDAF, then I'm thinking we're ready to tag and
roll the various 1.3.0 subprojects and the Library bundle, and proceed
to the quality testing phase.

Confirmed. The only class I can find that imports from
oa.commons.resources is oas.plugins.resources.CommonsResources, which
is in struts-extras.jar.
(And the only project.xml file that declares a dependency on
struts-extras is the one in apps, but since it does not also declare a
dependency on commons-resources, it must be using something else in
struts-extras.)
I was thinking that if pull
"org.apache.struts.plugins.resources" from the 1.3.0 release, then we
eliminate the Commons Resources dependency, and we could post an
initial release. Once Commons Resources is sorted out, we could add it
back and roll another Extras.
Okay. If I don't hear any objections to this today, I'll move that
package to sandbox/extras this evening.
