Well, Patrick mentioned in the "Web alignment group" that WebWork would like to join forces with another project, and we went from there. We discussed with Jason and Patrick the idea of going forward with Clarity, but they preferred the idea of joining Apache Struts. For the sake of continuity, we then made the WebWork merger the first phase of "Ti".
