Ok, in that case I'll hold off until later... a month or so after release maybe? I know you said patches after releases are generally frowned upon, does a month sound like a reasonable waiting period?
We always smile upon patches. Because we like patches, a lot of unnecessary code changes right after a popular release are problematic, since the changes will confound other people's patches, which tend to be based on the version a person is using, rather than the nigthly build. Those other patches would be rolling in for months to come. But it's not about time, it's about release series. If we don't do it now, the next likely point would be when we were gearing up for a 1.4.x release, and making other sweeping changes. In any event, with the Maven issues I ran into last night, I'm not going to be abel to roll it today. I want to spend the rest of the week working on Struts 2. If the Maven issues are resolved, then my next opportunity to tag and roll 1.3.5 would be Sunday, July 16. -Ted. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
