No clue--I don't know much about Maven when it comes to catalogs,
repositories, etc.
Regarding that blank-convention archetype, I can work on it if there
is anything in repo or if you can send it to me.
There's nothing in repo; convention-blank was just going to be blank but
using convention. There's just a couple of sanity-checking things in
there, nothing major--neither is intended to be a "starter"-type thing
including any other technologies.
