If you've set up the archetype catalog, you don't have to download and install archetype to use it, just launch maven like this, e.g.: mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog=http://www.lenart.org.pl/maven/ take a look on http://www.lenart.org.pl/maven/archetype-catalog.xml I think it should be easy to setup something similarly with snapshot repo >> Regarding that blank-convention archetype, I can work on it if there >> is anything in repo or if you can send it to me. > > There's nothing in repo; convention-blank was just going to be blank but > using convention.
