Heyho, great idea, I like it. But if you just want to change a prefix of the searchterm, e.g. change foobar to weebar, the following should also keep working /foobar<RET>3swee<ESC> because it doesnt make sense in vim that ā5sā does the same thing as ācā given a visual selection. --Markus
